Description:
We are really lucky to be able to use the indoor pool at Aldershot Leisure Centre from 4pm to 6pm on Sunday 8th November 2026 – we need to be out the pool and getting the boats back by 6pm.
This session is a trial session to work out how best to run the session and how logistics will work getting the equipment from the lido – so please bear with us and we will try to give you all as much time of the water as possible.
You can bring your own equipment but it must be cleaned before using in the pool.
If you require equipment please let us know in the comments, especially if there is specific boat you wish to use.
WE WILL NEED ASSISTANCE GETTING EQUIPMENT OUT AND PUT AWAY.
The venue is suited for practicing those skills you don’t want to practice outside in the winter time.
Please come to the Leisure Centre reception from about 3:45pm.
Trial Session Summary (this will be flexible and we will allow time for free-play)
- 4:00pm – 4:15pm: Equipment Collection & Setup
- 4:15pm – 4:25pm: Safety Briefing and Warm-Up
- 4:25pm – 5:00pm: Paddle Skills Development
- 5:00pm – 5:30pm: Rolling Skills
- 5:30pm – 5:45pm: Games and Fun Activities and Cool Down
- 5:45pm – 6:00pm: Equipment Return & Close
